Creative Space For Kids & Their Grown Ups
Criatura: On Books, Clay & Craftsmanship
Criatura is a unique creative space for children in the heart of Exarcheia, inspired by Greece’s rich cultural heritage and located near the Archaeological Museum. Founded by publisher Myrto Steirou and potter Artemis Timassuk, Criatura is a place where children and adults alike can explore the worlds of books, clay, and craftsmanship through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and artistic exploration.
Our vision
Criatura is more than just a workshop—it is a vibrant community where children and families engage with materials, create with their hands, and rediscover the beauty of craftsmanship. Through interactive activities, Criatura nurtures curiosity, creativity, and an appreciation for both traditional and contemporary artistic techniques.
